The Connecticut Dairy Goat Association was organized to promote the use of dairy goats, to promote the recording of pedigree breeding of the recognized breeds sanctioned by the American Dairy Goat Association: Alpine, LaMancha, Guernsey, Nigerian Dwarf, Nubian, Saanen, Sable Toggenburg and to include Experimental and Recorded Grade dairy goats.

 

The Connecticut Dairy Goat Association was created to provide to provide a network of information and support to Connecticut dairy goat owners with management, and economic opportunities within the dairy goat community.

 

The Connecticut Dairy Goat Association in creating a "network" of information to the dairy goat breeders of Connecticut and to create a solidarity with all types of goat owners and breeders, to include, but not limited to, fiber type goats and meat type goats, with the intentions of helping sustain a healthy population of caprine in Connecticut.
